IRS Offers Free Saturday Help Session In Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio 1060) -- The Internal Revenue Service will hold an open house this Saturday in Philadelphia for anyone with tax-related questions.
KYW's Lynne Adkins reports that even though it's not tax time -- unless you filed for a six-month extension which expires October 15th -- many people still have questions for the IRS.
Spokesman Mark Hanson says this open house gives you a chance to get help, one on one:
"This service is free, so those taxpayers in the Philadelphia area who need assistance and want to get it directly from the IRS can come in and get help free of charge. We're here 9 (AM) to 2 (PM) at 600 Arch Street."
You should bring any related papers and plan to arrive early, as previous Saturday sessions in Philadelphia have been quite popular and this will be the last one this year.
