Inmate Charged With Strangling Another Prisoner Inside Pa. Penitentiary
LEWISBURG, Pa. (CBS) – An inmate in prison in Colorado has been charged with strangling another prisoner while he was incarcerated in Pennsylvania four years ago.
Jose Caldera, who is currently in prison in Florence, Colorado, is charged in a one-count felony Information with murder.
Officials say Caldera strangled another inmate while in prison at the U.S. Penitentiary in Lewisburg, Pa. back in May 2010.
If convicted, Caldera could face life in prison.
