By Tim Jimenez
Philadelphia (CBS) – The Independence Seaport Museum held its 2nd annual Seaport Parade of Lights Saturday night on Penn's Landing. Tug boats and other vessels were lit up with festive lights and put on a show for spectators.
Nikazy: "And we get right to it with the tugboat Jupiter making her way up."
A familiar voice as master of ceremonies on this chilly night. KYW's own Steve Nikazy describing the boats on the Delaware, parading past spectators on Penn's Landing.
John Brady is CEO of the Independence Seaport Museum.
"We have a lot of the work boats on the river cooperating with us to do this. It's really great to see the museum really connect with the working river."
There were plenty of families, bundled up, watching the parade of lit up tugboats, commercial boats and others.
"I think they're pretty cool."
That's young Joakim from Cheltenham, enjoying the show with his family. His favorite?
"The one squirting the water."
One of the unanimous crowd pleasers; a fireboat from the Philadelphia fire department.
