TRENTON, N.J. (CBS) -- There are several races of interest today in New Jersey.
US senator Cory Booker has been in office for a year, succeeding the late Frank Lautenberg. Today, he seeks his own full, six-year term as he faces conservative strategist Jeff Bell.
In the state House, the race for Jon Runyan's soon-to-be-vacated seat pits Burlington County freeholder Aimee Belgard against businessman Tom MacArthur.
And state senator Donald Norcross seeks to replace former congressman Rob Andrews as he takes on former Philadelphia Eagles' linebacker turned sports talk host Garry Cobb.
Longtime incumbent Frank LoBiondo opposes William Hughes Jr., the son of the man he replaced in Congress.
There are two statewide ballot questions: one would reform bail rules in the state, the other addresses open space funding.
