In Ambler, Pa., The Town's Oasis Is Its Pizza Shop

AMBLER, Pa. (CBS) -- Workers at the only restaurant in Ambler with a generator were working overtime this morning to keep up with the demand of hungry neighbors dealing with power outages.
Throughout the town of Ambler, folks were dealing the best they could with the widespread outages.
"My job has no power, my house has no power," said one woman. "No one in Ambler has power!"
But there is one place with power: Ambler Pizza.
Owner Nick Formoso (at right in photo) says he installed a generator a couple of years ago.
"The power goes out a lot up here, and I got burned a couple times with coolers going down," he tells KYW Newsradio. "So I made a decision to do it, and I'm very thankful."
He says that since the hurricane, his business has increased by about 300 percent.
"Crazy! Unbelievable -- it's just been insane!" he says. "I can't keep up!"
Was this woman surprised that Ambler Pizza was open?
"Yeah, I was. There were no grocery stores, no gas stations open, so I'm glad they're open."
