Iced-Over Footprints In Ocean County Lead To Dead Body
LONG BEACH ISLAND, N.J. (AP) - Iced-over footprints and discarded clothing have led a Coast Guard crew to a body near Long Beach Island, N.J.
The Long Beach Island Police Department told the Coast Guard early Sunday night that an officer had found clothing and glasses and footprints leading into the water. A Coast Guard crew found the male victim and performed CPR. He was pronounced dead at a Coast Guard station.
His name is being withheld until relatives are notified.
