Blue Route, I-95 Reopens After Tanker Overturns
RIDLEY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) — A traffic nightmare on the Blue Route and I-95 in Delaware County is over Tuesday night.
All lanes have re-opened following a tanker accident.
A portion of I-95 in Ridley Township, Delaware County was closed after a tanker carrying propane overturned on Tuesday afternoon.
The tanker was carrying 11,000 pounds of propane as a significant amount leaked down the I-476 southbound ramp to I-95 North.
Officials evacuated one business in the area of the crash.
The driver of the tanker has been transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to officials.
