Hunt Continues For Bucks County Man Missing Since February 13th

By Brad Segall

HOLLAND, Pa. (CBS) -- The concern continues to grow in Bucks County, where a 20-year-old man has been missing for more than a week.

Police are hoping that someone out there can help them find him.

Northampton police say Brian Shipley left his Holland, Pa. home the night of February 13th, and was last seen running toward the George School in Middletown Township.  That's where the trail has gone cold.

His family says he's run away before, but this time he hasn't logged onto social media sites, called, or texted anyone.

Detective John Gross says Shipley may have been despondent, and the concern is for the young man's well-being.

"His identification, his wallet, his passport, and other things like that were not taken with him, so our concern is that he wouldn't have had any money or financial means (or) identification to get anywhere else," Gross tells KYW Newsradio.

Police have conducted ground and air searches and have taken to monitoring Facebook and Twitter for any clues that could lead to his whereabouts.

Shipley is described as a light-skinned black man, 5' 11" tall and about 180 lbs.  Missing person fliers have been posted throughout Northampton Township and the surrounding communities.  Anyone with information is encouraged to call Det. Gross at 215-322-6111.
