PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Hundreds of cyclists took to the streets of Philadelphia this morning for the Inaugural Phillies Charities Bike Ride.
The 25 mile bike ride that went through the city started and finished at Citizens Bank Park.
Riders say it was a great chance to see Philadelphia like they never have before.
"I like going up through the Art Museum and Logan Square. Yeah it's amazing," one rider said of riding through the city. "Saw the skyline of Philadelphia as you're riding into center city. It was nice."
Many of the bikers say the ride is great but the end is even better
"The best part was the Phillie Fanatic high-fiving you when you're coming through the finish line."
The ride raised money for Phillies Charities.
The organization supports community non-profits in Philadelphia, New Jersey, Delaware and Clearwater, Florida.
