Hundreds Ride In Honor Of Fallen Philadelphia Police Officer Brian Lorenzo

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - It was a tribute to Highway Patrol Officer Brian Lorenzo and one of the highest honors to give the fallen.
The president of the Fraternal Order of Police, John McNesby, said, "Brian was a great cop, a great father, great family man. He lived by his motorcycle. This is the true testament of what people think of him."
About 400 Riders were expected - more than 800 showed. All were riding to show support for Officer Lorenzo's family and remember his 23 years of service.
"We're here to show support for Brian, for his family, for every police officer that walks the street every night," a friend of Brian's and fellow officer said.
"There's nothing we can do replace the hurt, but to know they're loved and looked after, that would mean the world to them," said one rider.
Officer Lorenzo was killed early Sunday morning. Police say John Leck Jr. was driving drunk and got on the Cottman Avenue exit, heading southbound in the northbound lane of I-95 when he allegedly hit Lorenzo head-on. Lorenzo had just finished his shift and was heading home.
Riders circled the crash scene then headed on to the Fraternal Order of Police. Many will make their presence known Friday durning Lorezno's services.
Wayne Lutz, the founder of Warriors Watch Riders says they're here to show their support.
"Just like the soldiers are going out putting their lives on the line every day, police officers are doing the same thing. We honor that sacrifice, we know what it means to walk out the door in the morning and not know if you're coming home at night," Lutz says.
