How Long Will NHL Lockout Last?
By Matt Leon
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The NHL lockout continues and on Thursday it reached another "milestone" with word that the league was cancelling the first two weeks of the regular season. That wipes 82 games off the schedule, including four for the Flyers.
The two sides continue to haggle over how to split up $3 billion in hockey-related revenues and there would not appear to be much hope that an agreement is in the cards here in the near future.
KYW's Matt Leon spoke with Sam Carchidi, Flyers beat writer for the Philadelphia Inquirer, to get the latest on the lock out and what he sees happening in the future.
