Horsham Man Charged With Three Robberies at Same Hatboro Bank Branch
By Brad Segall
HATBORO, Pa. (CBS) -- Authorities in Montgomery County, Pa. say they have taken a serial bank robber off the streets after he terrorized employees and customers at a Hatboro bank three times in less than two years.
Prosecutors say they used eyewitness accounts and video surveillance to develop their suspect, eventually arresting Clark Leary of Horsham, Pa.
They say the 54-year-old man held up the TD Bank on South York Road for the first time in January 2013, and then again in July and October of this year.
According to investigators, he went to great lengths to hide his identity, wearing bandanas and a Halloween style "Scream" mask.

"These were very frightening, brazen bank robberies," said Montgomery County DA Risa Ferman today. "The gun may have just been a pellet gun, but it looks like a real gun. And the customers and staff inside of the bank, they were terrified."
Officials say Leary made off with more than $12,000 during the three robberies. A search of his home turned up evidence including the alleged gun, cash, TD Bank money bands, and clothing that matches surveillance photos from the holdups.
Leary is charged with robbery, theft, and related offenses.
