Homes Damaged In Lehigh County Gas Explosion

LOWER MACUNGIE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) – Several homes were damaged and evacuations were ordered after a gas explosion in Lehigh County Thursday morning.
The natural gas explosion happened in the Legacy Oaks development in Lower Macungie Township. Legacy Oaks is a 55 and older community.
Chopper 3 HD was over the scene where it showed the garages of two homes that were damaged by the explosion.
Twelve surrounding homes were evacuated as crews investigated the explosion.
There were no reports of any injuries.
