Homeowner, Robbery Suspect Exchange Gunfire In Mayfair
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are investigating a shootout between a homeowner and a robbery suspect in Northeast Philadelphia early Friday morning.
The incident happened shortly after midnight at a home in the 4700 block of Loring Avenue in the city's Mayfair section.
According to investigators, two men – a homeowner and a robbery suspect – exchanged gunfire during the attempted burglary.
Police say one man is in critical condition and the other is in stable condition with a hand wound. It was not immediately known which man was in critical condition.
The investigation into the shooting remains under police investigation.
