Home Video Report: 'The Fighter' Comes To DVD
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Some interesting offbeat films are on this week's home video list, including one that was a big winner on Oscar Night.
The Fighter is a gritty, true-life offering about a boxer and his trainer-brother who grew up on the streets of Lowell, Mass., and who join to win a championship which strengthens family bonds. Melissa Leo and Christian Bale both took home Oscars for their supporting performances.
Hereafter is a Clint Eastwood-directed film about three people haunted by mortality in different ways.
The Switch stars Jennifer Aniston as a 40-year-old single woman who decides it's time to have a baby, even if it means doing it herself with a little help from a charming sperm donor.
There's also Morning Glory, with Harrison Ford and Diane Keaton. And, for laughs, a couple of Peanuts features: "A Boy Named Charlie Brown" and "Snoopy Comes Home."
