Home Video Report: Some Quirky Features Headed to DVD
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A few surprises in this week's home video report, although some of the subjects are familiar.
Jane Eyre, the Charlotte Bronte classic, gets a gloomy makeover in a new revision for TV (photo).
In the production of Priest, Paul Bettany plays a vampire hunter from the sci-fi thriller set in a world ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampires. Christopher Plummer and Stephen Moyer are featured.
Something Borrowed features Jennifer Goodwin and Kate Hudson in another well-meaning comedy of marriage.
Then there's Meet Monica Velour, featuring Dustin Ingram as an awkward teenager searching for a glamorous porn star -- only to find that she's a 49-year-old single mom (Kim Cattrall) restricted to playing strip clubs.
And, The Killing is Stanley Kubrick's noir thriller from 1956. Sterling Hayden, Coleen Gray, and Elisha Cook are featured.
