Home Video Report: Full Millennium Trilogy Now On DVD
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - One of the advantages of investing in videos is that, frequently, you have a choice of being able to select either the single feature at a bargain price or, for a heftier price, a group of features packaged together.
A good example: The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest, released this week as the third and final installment in the Swedish adaptation of the Stieg Larsson trilogy. Or, for more money, you can get the entire Millennium film trilogy.
There's also "The Ronald Reagan Centennial Collection," containing eight films from 1987. And a new release of Broadcast News from director James Brooks, well known for a number of popular period films including this one. There's some additional material in the package including a booklet by Inquirer film critic Carrie Rickey.
New releases to DVD also include Red, with Bruce Willis and Helen Mirren, and Secretariat, the story of the horse that won the Triple Crown in 1973. Diane Lane and John Malkovich are featured in that one.
