Home Used In Rocky II Movie Up For Sale
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The historic home used during the Rocky II movie is up for sale in South Philadelphia.
"Nice house I say that's a nice house in general. Wouldn't you? HUNGH!?" says Rocky Balboa during the movie Rocky II.
According to the listing on listhub.net, the home that Rocky Balboa bought with his winnings at the end of Rocky II, located at 2313 South Lambert Street in the Girard Estate neighborhood of Philadelphia, is on the market.
The asking price for the three bedroom home, built in 1923, is $139,000.
"Well the house is, you know, a little tired, you know, it's been in the same family for over 50 years, well kept home though, but like I said, its a little tired. It could use a little TLC. And we feel that we priced it according to it's market value," says Alpha Reality Group agent Joe Bianco.
"I really like these bricks, they are really nicely done here. They look very solid," says Rocky about the home in the movie.
Reporter: "And does it have good bricks?"
Bianco laughs: "It does have good bricks yes."
