Awards Season Begins With Hollywood Film Awards 2014
LOS ANGELES (CBS) -- Hollywood's biggest movie stars kicked off awards season Friday night.
The 2014 Hollywood Film Awards debuted on television for the first time ever on CBS.
Queen Latifah hosted the 18th annual event at The Palladium in Hollywood, California that recognizes this year's most outstanding performances.
Julianne Moore received the Hollywood Actress Award for "Still Alice." Benedict Cumberbatch won the Hollywood Actor Award for "The Intimidation Game."
Gone Girl received the Hollywood Film Award and Michael Keaton received the Hollywood Career Achievement Award.

The evening began with Robert Downey, Jr., as he presented Robert Duvall with the Hollywood Supporting Actor award for his role in "The Judge". The Hollywood Supporting Actress Award went to Keira Knightley for her performance as Joan Clarke in "The Intimidation Game."
Shailene Woodley received the Hollywood Film Award For Breakout Performance By An Actress for her role as Hazel in "The Fault In Our Stars." Co-star Laura Dern presented the award. Eddie Redmayne received the Hollywood Film Award For Breakout Performance By An Actor for his role as Stephen Hawking in "The Theory of Everything." Jared Leto presented the award.
The cast of "Foxcatcher" received the Hollywood Ensemble Award and "Guardians of the Galaxy" won the Hollywood Blockbuster Award.
Reese Witherspoon presented Jean-Marc Vallée with this year's Breakthrough Director Award for the film, "Wild", in which Witherspoon stars.
Hilary Swank presented Gillian Flynn with the Hollywood Screenwriter Award for "Gone Girl." Morton Tyldum received the Hollywood Director Award for "The Imitation Game."
Janelle Monae won the Hollywood Song Award for "What is Love?" from "Rio 2."
Angelina Jolie presented the New Hollywood Award to Jack O'Connell for "Unbroken."
Chris Rock received the The Hollywood Comedy Film Award for "Top Five."
The Hollywood Animation Award was presented to "How to Train Your Dragon 2."
Mike Myers won the Hollywood Documentary Award for "Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon."
