The rush is on.   Travelers are making their way to be with loved ones for the holidays.

Today, with suitcase is tow, Stefani Lyngard of Columbia, Md. (at left in photo below) arrived at 30th Street Station by train for her family gathering this weekend -- something she has been doing regularly.

"Almost every year for Christmas," she says.

Her sister-in-law, Dydra Lyngard of Flourtown, Pa. (at right in photo), was there to meet Stefani, accompanied by granddaughter Katia.

"I was just telling her the plans for the Christmas meal," Dydra said.  "We are going to do something different this year just to liven things up.  We're picking a country and doing a traditional meal.  In this case it's Denmark, because my husband is Danish."

Dydra says they're having beef roast, Danish red cabbage, and a traditional recipe she never tried before: potatoes and sugar, to make caramelized potatoes. They're hoping for the best -- after all, she likes Stefani and would like to see her return next Christmas.
