Highway Officer Injured In Crash In Northeast Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A Philadelphia Highway Patrol officer suffered minor injuries after being involved in a crash early Thursday morning.
The crash happened at about 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Harbison Avenue and the Roosevelt Boulevard in Northeast Philadelphia.
According to investigators, a 46-year-old Highway Patrol officer was on his motorcycle when he collided with another vehicle.
The officer was able to move and stand on his own, but he was taken as a precaution to Albert Einstein Medical Center for evaluation. He is listed in good condition with minor bumps and bruises.
The exact cause of the accident remains under investigation.
