Healthy Snack Food Company KIND Stops in Center City

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The snack food company, KIND, believes there's always room for more kindness. One of its trucks, on a cross-country mobile tour, parked next to LOVE Park in Center City on Tuesday to ask people to get involved with its 'kinding mission.'
Morgan Greene of KIND Healthy Snacks says they're challenging folks to pledge to complete one act of kindness, and give thanks to someone who has made an impact on their lives.
"We're asking Philadelphians to get involved with our do the kind thing initiative," she says.
If they find enough 'kindaholics' to sign up at kindmovement.com, the company will pay-the-kindness-forward.
"We're going to partner with Philabundance," Greene says, "to provide thousands of Thanksgiving meals to local residents who are struggling with the realities of hunger."
The company intended to not only donate to Philabundance, but its workers had planned to do volunteer work for the hunger relief organization.
