Healthy, Rested Eagles Back to Practice
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - After a bye week and a day off yesterday (see previous story), the Philadelphia Eagles were back on the practice field today as they get ready to host Dallas on Sunday night.
Andy Reid's injury report was short today. In fact, it was virtually nonexistent, with everyone healthy enough to work out.
That includes tackle Jason Peters, who has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury (see related story). His return allows Reid to get a look at his full offensive line, including Peters and Todd Herremans at tackle.
What are Reid's expectations for that group?
"I think it is just a matter of continuing to work together and putting out the effort that they put out, and this has nothing to do with... I thought (tackle) Winston (Justice) did a nice job the last game but I made the decision to go with Todd at the right tackle spot. I think they have a chance to be a pretty good offensive line," Reid told reporters.
Also practicing was second-year defensive end Brandon Graham, who has yet to play this season after December knee surgery.
Graham also practiced on Monday, and Reid talked about his progress.
"You know what? He did pretty good on Monday. I'm not going to tell you he's all the way back, but we'll see today. We have the pads on today, so we will see how he does."
Graham is currently on the physically unable to perform list.
The Eagles (2-4) and the Cowboys (3-3) kick off at 8:20pm on Sunday.
