Health Officials Warn Of Measles Exposures In Bucks County
BUCKS COUNTY, Pa. (CBS) - Bucks County health officials are putting out a warning as they closely monitor three probable cases of measles in the county.
Health officials say the three were exposed to some French foreign-exchange students who were symptomatic for measles but returned to their native country before being tested. The students were staying with families in the Council Rock School District.
Officials say possible measles exposures could have occurred this past Saturday between 11am and noon at Parx Casino in Bensalem, or Saturday night at the "murder mystery dinner" at the Cock and Bull Restaurant in Lahaska.

Bucks County health department director Dr. David Damsker says area residents should watch for symptoms "which include things like fever, runny nose, eye itchiness, and a rash starting at their head, working down their body. They need to tell their doctors that they were possibly exposed to measles."
Officials believe the cases are mild because all three were at least partially vaccinated. Damsker says the federal CDC is contacting the families of the students in France to see if any more are showing signs of the disease.
