Health Federation Of Philadelphia Holds Contest To Promote Community Health Centers
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - If you are between the ages of nine and 18 and have some artistic talent, the Health Federation of Philadelphia is looking for you. The agency is holding its 4th Annual Poster Contest to promote community health centers.
Community health centers throughout the region serve low income people throughout Philadelphia, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties. So, if you live in those counties and want to compete in the poster contest, now is the time.
"Our theme for the poster contest is 'Community Health Centers: Meeting the Challenge of Health Care for All,'" said Suzanne Cohen, a spokesperson for the federation. "So, we would like young people to focus their posters on that theme or some aspect of community health centers."
First, second and third prizes will be awarded in two age categories: nine to 13, and 14 to 18. First prize is a $250 gift card. The winning entries will be exhibited in City Hall from August through October.
