Today our features on Merion took us back to the archives... and while it wasn't a US Open, perhaps the biggest moment in Merion history -- and in all of golf -- was the day that Bobby Jones wrapped up the Grand Slam in 1930.
Back in 1989 I sat down with the man who had caddied for Jones that week long ago. Some fun memories are in a podcast which you can find here at TeeItUpPhilly.com.
Tomorrow: some thoughts on Merion from defending US Open champ Webb Simpson, who loves everything about the golf course.
