Hazmat Team In Gloucester County Investigating Chemical Spill At Cocoa Factory
GLASSBORO, N.J. (CBS) - A hazmat crew in Gloucester County is investigating a chemical spill at a cocoa factory Monday evening.
Authorities arrived at Adm Cocoa in the 600 block of Ellis Street in Glassboro at about 5:30 p.m.
Officials said hydrogen peroxide leaked from a 2,000 gallon tanker. There is no word on how the leak may have started.
The area has been shut down as a result of the incident and local evacuations have been ordered.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
