Hazmat Investigation Shuts Down Several Roads In Montgomery County
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) - A HAZMAT investigation in Montgomery County shut down several roads for close to an hour Thursday afternoon.
A little before 4 p.m., authorities shut down Lancaster Avenue between Woodside Road and Wyoming Avenue and Woodside Road between Montgomery and Lancaster avenues in Ardmore.
A bottle was reportedly thrown out of the window of a passing vehicle which prompted the area HAZMAT team to respond. It is unclear what the substance is at this time. Authorities are investigating.
