Hatboro-Horsham HS Community Mourns Two Graduates Killed In Car Crash
HORSHAM, Pa. (CBS) - Students, alumni and faculty from Hatboro-Horsham High School are grieving following the deaths of two former students in a tragic car crash (see related story). On Sunday, grief counselors provided support to the school community.
A make-shift memorial of flowers and photographs sits at the corner of Wade Avenue and Witmer Road where Robert Walker and Edward Coombs were found dead after their car crashed early Saturday morning.
Dennis Williams, the Principal of Hatboro-Horsham High School where the 19-year-olds graduated last year says, "Overall, they were some good kids and added a lot to our high school community through their relationship with teachers and administrators and their relationship with kids in the building."

Williams says the two teens were popular and played on the lacrosse team. Coombs also played varsity football, "This is a tough ... a tough place to be."
Williams said more than two dozen students and alumni visited the crash site or came to the school to show respect for the teens.
Lou James, the school's Athletic Director, worked with both Walker and Coombs and says they were great student athletes. "Robert as an athlete was very quick, very fast. Most of all he was a great team mate. He did what he had to do. Edward touched our football community -- our lacrosse community."
School officials say additional crisis counselors may be available during the week.
