Harvard Study Claims Daughters Of Working Moms Earn More And Are More Likely To Be Bosses
BOSTON, MA (CBS) – If you suffer from "mommy guilt," it's time to banish it.
Leaving your child to go to work is actually better for them, according to researchers from Harvard Business School.
Those researchers found that daughters of working mothers grew up to be more successful in the workplace than their peers. They also earn more and are more likely to be bosses.
And it isn't only girls who benefit; sons of working mothers are more likely to grow up contributing to child care and household chores.
Scientists call the findings "stark" and say they hold true for 24 countries.
