Lockdown Lifted At Hardy Williams Mastery Charter School After 911 Call Warning Of School Shooting
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police have lifted the lockdown at Hardy Williams Mastery Charter School in West Philadelphia on Wednesday afternoon after a 911 call warned of a shooting at the school earlier in the day. The school was placed on lockdown around 10 a.m. Wednesday, but it was lifted at 2:21 p.m, police say.
Police say a woman called 911 stating that "someone would be coming to shoot up the school."
The school is located on the 5400 block of Warrington Avenue.
It was placed on lockdown around 10 a.m. and cleared at 2:21 p.m. Wednesday.
