Handgun Among Items Stolen In Montgomery County Home Burglaries
TOWAMENCIN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) – Police in a small Montgomery County town are investigating two home burglaries that have occurred in the past five days.
The most recent burglary happened Thursday evening inside a home in the 1700 block of Metz Road in Towamencin Township. According to police, a burglar forced their way into the home through a rear door. The thief took approximately $700 worth of items and a .38 caliber handgun.
The first burglary happened at a home in the 2100 block of Old Forty Foot Road on November 14th. In this burglary, the suspect forced their way into the home through a window.
An Xbox console, controller and Xbox game worth approximately $300 were taken from the home.
