Half-Naked "Messiah" Causes Problems On Columbus Boulevard
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A half-naked man calling himself "the Messiah" caused disturbances on Columbus Boulevard early Sunday morning.
Philadelphia Police first believed the 57-year-old man was thrown from a vehicle on the 1300 block of Columbus Boulevard, but upon further investigation, it was determined the man was banging on passing vehicles and fell over when one of them opened their door.
It was later determined the man became delusional after mixing his new medication with alcohol (he suffers from PTSD and depression). He was taken to Jefferson Hospital for treatment.
No charges have been filed.
