Gusty Winds, Heavy Rain Headed Our Way
PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Mother Nature is bringing a different set of weather issues to the opposite ends of Pennsylvania - rain in the east and snow in the west.
Forecasters say two to three or even four inches of rain will be coming to parts of eastern Pennsylvania and northern New Jersey tonight through early Monday.
The National Weather Service says some local flooding is possible along smaller rivers and creeks.
In the west, forecasters say the storm could bring 8 to 12 inches of snow to higher elevations in Fayette, Westmoreland, Indiana and Jefferson counties and three to four inches in Pittsburgh and surrounding areas.
The storm's biggest threat is likely power outages caused by falling trees and limbs bringing down power lines.
