Guilty Plea Expected In PHL Airport Perimeter Gate-Crashing Incident

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A Chadds Ford, Pa. man is expected to plead guilty this afternoon to charges related to driving an SUV onto runways at Philadelphia International Airport.
It was a bizarre incident back on March 1st, when an SUV, with Kenneth Mazik behind the wheel, burst through a perimeter gate at the airport and raced around varous runways, at times chased by police at upwards of 100 miles an hour as planes were on final approach for landing (see related story).
Now, a case that began with a bang looks likely to end with a whimper of regret this afternoon.
So far, explanations of what was going on with the gate-crashing have been vague, Mazik's attorney saying that his client believed he was being pursued and made some bad decisions because of that (see related story) -- which, ironically, ended up in his being pursued by police.
The charges could get Mazik a maximum of 20 years in prison.
