Record of the Year Snubs

Res: Ke$ha & Justin Beiber- songs are loved by the masses.
Tayyib: nothing stood out to me
Ryat: Beach House
Melony: "Dog Days"- Florence + the Machine. This song was everywhere from the trailer of "Eat, Pray, Love" to the T.O. Show on VH1. It had a great music video and it was well written, produced and performed.

Song of the Year Snubs

Res: Heartbeat- Nneka- great song that brings you there. "I Got a Feeling" - Black Eye Peas – I'm not a BEP fan but it's a pop song that I'm cool with. It's a simple song. It was on Oprah and people where doing flash mobs to it.
Melony: Christina Aguilera - You Lost Me - One of the best songs from "Bionic," it wasn't a hit but it is a great song of love lost. Christina sang the hell of it.

Album of the Year Snubs

Res: Lykke Li, Janelle Monae
Tayyib: Janelle Monae
Ryat: Janelle Monae, Lykke Li, Beach House
Melony: Florence + the Machine

Best New Artist Snubs

Res: Janelle Monae
Tayyib: Janelle Monae, Lykke Li
Ryat: Janelle Monae
Melony: Nicki Minaj

This year's performers are:

Cee Lo Green and Gwyneth Paltrow with the Muppets – First Glee, then Saturday Night Live, and now the Grammy's, Cee Lo and actress/singer Gwyneth Paltrow are teaming up with the Muppets for what should be one of the most interesting renditions of F*** You.

Rihanna and Drake - With for nominations between them, it is unknown what song this duo will perform but "What's My Name" seems to be the obvious choice.

B.O.B, Bruno Mars, & Janelle Monae - This talented trio are the New Kids on the Block and good look into the next generation of music.

Katy Perry - 2010 was a great year for Katy Perry who is nominated for four Grammy's. She may perform a mash up of hits "California Girls," "Teenage Dream," and "Firework."

Lady Gaga - it is probably no coincidence that the first single off her new album "Born This Way" comes out the same day as the Grammy's. It will be a night of new music for all the little monsters.

Mick Jagger & Raphael Saadiq – The Rolling Stones' front-man and R&B/Soul veteran will be teaming up during the "In Memoriam" segment to pay tribute to the "King of Rock n' Soul," Solomon Burke who passed away in October 2010.

Also performing are Justin Bieber with Usher and Jayden Smith (son of Philly native Will Smith), Eminen, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Muse, and Arcade Fire. There will probably be some surprise performances like a rumored Britney Spears performance.

Who do you wish was performing?

Res: Rick Ross, Ghostface, Raheem DeVaughn, Robyn, Lykke Li, Florence + the Machine
Tayyib: Andre 3000 and Radiohead
Ryat: Beach House

Part 3: Final Thoughts...

Grammy Fashion Forecast

Listen to the fashion discussion

You do not have to win an award or even be nominated to come out on top during award season. The right dress, hair, and accessories can make any attendee a winner. KYW's Melony Roy and local style guru and lifestyle blogger Jimmy Contreras discuss this award season's trends and what to look for at this year's Grammys.

Contreras says, this award season trends are emerald, cream tones and show- stopping black dresses, like Eva Longoria in Marc Jacobs and Halle Berry in Nina Ricci at the Globes. What separates the Grammys from the other shows is that the fashion is more bold, funky and playful. You can get away with wearing a mini, sneakers, and crazy hair to the Grammys that you could never wear to the Golden Globes or Oscars. Ones to watch are Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Nikki Minaj, and the Glee kids.
