Gritty, Philadelphia Flyers Host Anti-Bullying Assembly For Students In Coatesville
COATESVILLE, Pa. (CBS) -- Students at Rainbow Elementary School in Coatesville had a special visitor on Tuesday. As you could tell from the cheers, the students were thrilled to see Gritty cruising into the gymnasium.
It was all part of a character-building assembly.
The program, which focuses on anti-bullying, is part of the Flyers' yearlong effort to visit local schools and teach students about the importance of respect, teamwork and inclusivity.
