Grammar Website Reveals Magazines With Most Accurate Content
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Those who are gung-ho about grammar should stick to eight magazines.
Grammar website Grammarly says it took to the beach with the top magazines for both men and women in an effort to find those that published the most accurate written content.
The most accurate magazine for women was Ladies' Home Journal, followed by Glamour in second place. For men, GQ took top honors, with Popular Mechanics in second.
According to Grammarly, the men's magazines were more accurate on average, with .9 mistakes per 100 words compared to 1.4 per 100. But women had much higher levels of readership -- over 3 million for women versus just over 1 million for men.
And for those who claim to read Playboy "for the articles," we may have to take your word for it: Playboy was the fourth most accurate mag for men.
