Gov. Wolf Signs Bill Enforcing Rear-Facing Car Seats For Kids Under 2
HARRISBURG (CBS) -- Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf signed a new child safety bill that enforces rear-facing car seats for children under two years old.
Safety experts say a rear-facing car seat can reduce a child's risk of getting seriously hurt or killed in a crash.
The law will take affect in two months.
Police will give verbal warnings to drivers who do not obey the new law for the first year. After that period, drivers will face a $125 fine.
