Golfer Remembers Arnold Palmer: 'He Was A Man Of The People'
BLUE BELL, Pa. (CBS) -- Arnold Palmer is being remembered around the world as the golfer who worked to bring the game to the people.
"I mean, he was everything," says Joey Pohle, head golf professional at Blue Bell Country Club, one of a handful in the Philadelphia area designed by Palmer.

"He was a man of the people, so he wanted obviously to have a lot of people play and enjoy his golf courses."
So, Pohle says, a Palmer designed course like Blue Bell appeals to a scratch golfer on down.
"You play the back tee it's an extremely difficult, challenging golf course. But yet you can move forward to say the third set of tees where most all my seniors play and it's an enjoyable course for them, too."

"I find it hard pressed that there's going to be someone even close to what he's done for the game."
