Golden Nugget Casino To Negotiate Labor Contract With Hospitality Workers
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (CBS) -- On Thursday, Atlantic City's Golden Nugget will try to hammer out a new contract with its hospitality workers. Golden Nugget remains the only casino in town without a new labor agreement.
That's after Resorts Casino Hotel reached a deal Wednesday with Local 54 of the UNITE HERE Union.
Housekeeping employees at resorts will see their pay increase to $22 an hour at the end of the four-year contract.
