Gloucester County Couple Killed In Apparent Murder-Suicide
DEPTFORD, N.J. (CBS) -- A man and his wife are dead after an apparent murder-suicide inside the couple's Gloucester County, New Jersey home.
It happened just after 8 a.m. Saturday at The Heritage housing development , a 55 and older community, in the 200 block of Idlewood Way in Deptford.
Authorities say the received a 911 call from the 67-year-old husband about a shooting at the residence. When officers arrived, they found the bodies of the man and his 72-year-old wife.
Both were taken to area hospitals where they were pronounced dead a short time later.
The couple's identities were being withheld pending notification of family members.
Further details surrounding the shooting were not immediately disclosed.
The shooting is under investigation.
