'Give Kids A Smile' Day Is Coming Up
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The annual 'give kids a smile' event is February 5th.
Children need to see a dentist and give kids a smile lets them do that for free.
Jean Corbi, co-coordinator of the event at Camden County College's Blackwood Campus says it runs from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. and the dentists can see up to 100-patients 12 and under.
"They are able to participate and have their teeth cleaned," Corbi said. "We do patient education and x-rays, fluoride treatments and we do have some limited restorative care here by dentists that are also volunteering."
