By Mike Dougherty
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A new exhibit opened today at the National Constitution Center celebrating the 100 year anniversary of the Girl Scouts.
Dozens of Girl Scouts, past and present, lined up for a ribbon cutting ceremony of the "On My Honor" exhibit.
"We're really excited about inspiring a new generation of leaders."
This is a special exhibit for Alison Young of the Constitution Center.
"I was a Girl Scout. I grew up in Upstate New York and girl scouting was quite the activity back then. I remember earning my babysitting badge before my sister."
Amelia is proud to be part of the history.
"It means that I have a lot of responsibilities and I get to do amazing things. We donated blankets the other day to a hospital."
There are old uniforms and badges on display. The exhibit is open through the rest of the year.
