Giordano: Why No Charges For Lawyer Caught On Camera With Alleged Anti-Trump Vandal?
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- If you're bored over the Christmas holidays and you'd like to spray paint a nice building in Philadelphia with "hate" speech toward Donald Trump, I have some tips that will allow you to essentially get away with it even if you are caught in the act on multiple surveillance cameras.
Almost everyone has seen Duncan Lloyd, an attorney of the Law Department of the City of Philadelphia, strutting down Germantown Avenue about two weeks ago. He was accompanied by another man and they end up at the Fresh Market in Chestnut Hill as the other man spray paints the building. My observation is that Lloyd's costume for the evening made a big difference. His fancy blazer complemented by tan pants, topped off by a blue ascot, and fleshed out by carrying a wine glass is a classic look. Ralph Lauren will probably want it for his new "bad boy" collection.

Of course, the Philadelphia Police and other city officials have now also said there was criminal behavior on the part of Lloyd and they seem to have no interest in prosecuting the other man involved. If these two fun guys had written derogatory comments about President Obama, I wonder if everything would be seen so kindly.
I know someone in the police department who often must face off against Lloyd in arbitration cases. I wonder how he'll feel knowing that Lloyd has this much internal sway in inside government.
This whole story while humorous illustrates what Jim Kenney is all about. He lives in a parallel universe in which laws, logic, and common sense give way to his own personal biases.
By the way, I love wine, I pay a lot of taxes in Philadelphia so Lloyd as a city employee should at least have to give me his wine preferences.
