Giordano: The Primary Home Stretch

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- We are in the home stretch and hopefully you are ready to vote for candidate you support as a presidential nominee, and just as importantly the delegate candidate you favor in your congressional district. I was inspired by the candidates I met last week at Andy's Diner. They are engaged citizens and people of character. Some traveled over a hundred miles to be there.
I am very suspect of both those endorsed by the local county Republican parties. I am very suspect of those who claim they will vote on the first ballot for the candidate with the largest vote in that district. It's clear to me that Republican voters want an outsider. They want Donald Trump or Ted Cruz. I like the fact that we have been able to identify the Cruz and Trump candidates in each district.
It's up to you and me to ensure that we elect delegates that are not poised to go to Cleveland and tag in some nominee like Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney or other nominee of the establishment. Let everyone that you know that we have the candidates on record at cbsphilly.com/Dom.
