Getting To King Of Prussia On The Schuylkill Expressway Is About To Get Easier
KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. (CBS) - Going to King of Prussia? It could get easier in a month or so, when a new Schuylkill Expressway off-ramp opens.
PennDOT is finishing the final few weeks of work on a new off-ramp westbound on the Schuylkill Expressway between the Gulph Mills and Route 202 interchanges.
PennDOT spokesman Gene Blaum says the ramp will provide another option for westbound drivers heading to King of Prussia, "It's going to be a major benefit for motorists traveling in and around the King of Prussia area. It gives you another key access point to reach Upper Merion Township, at the intersection of South Henderson and South Gulph Roads."
The on-ramp opened back in May. You'll have to go back to 1991 -- the opening of the Blue Route interchange -- for the last major Schuylkill off-ramp.
