Chester Gas Station Owner Killed During Robbery

CHESTER, Pa. (CBS) - Police in Delaware County are looking for a killer who fatally shot a gas station owner during a robbery of a gas station in Chester Friday morning.

The shooting took place at the Sunoco A Plus gas station at 9th and Kerlin Streets at about 4 a.m.

Before being taken to Crozer-Chester medical center, the victim, Mohammed Fareed, 56, gave police a description of the gunman who fled the scene right after the shooting.

Fareed lost consciousness on the way to the hospital and died a short time later.

The suspect remains on the loose.
