UPDATE: Route 70 Reopens After Gas Main Leak In Cherry Hill
CHERRY HILL, N.J. (CBS) -- A gas main leak created a traffic headache for motorists Friday on a heavily-traveled road in South Jersey.
The gas main leak happened around 10:30 a.m. on westbound Route 70 near Cooper Landing Road in Cherry Hill.
Workers with PSE&G were at the scene repairing the gas main leak for several hours.
The Cherry Hill Police Department says the intersection reopened in all directions shortly before 4 p.m., in time for rush hour.
