Gas Line Repairs on Haddonfield Road Slated For Next Several Weeks in Cherry Hill
CHERRY HILL, N.J., (CBS) – Camden County officials are advising area residents that PSE&G will repair its natural gas lines on Haddonfield Road (CR 644) in Cherry Hill over the next several weeks.
"Motorists need to be aware of the construction taking place on Haddonfield Road over the next few weeks and plan their commutes accordingly," said Freeholder Ian Leonard, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works in a statement.
PSE&G crews will be on site from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Officials say the exact timing of the project is dependent upon the weather and other factors.
Officials say phase one of the project will take place on Haddonfield Road between Dudley Avenue and Princeton Avenue, which should take about one week to complete.
Phase two of the project will then be done on Haddonfield Road between Maple Avenue and Church Road.
"Whenever you are driving through a road construction zone, please stay prepared for traffic pattern changes, and be observant of posted instructions or directions from police officers," Leonard said.
Camden County officials say it may become necessary at times to shift traffic or close one lane.
